Germany/South Korea: MackMedia and Lotte World to Become Strategic Partner
During this year’s IAAPA Expo, Michael Mack (CEO MackMedia) and Dong Gi Park – CEO of South Korea’s Lotte World theme park) – signed a strategic partnership to further develop virtual reality (VR) applications in theme parks. Lotte World, which is located close to Seoul, will apply two of its stationary rides with “VR Coaster’s” technology and its 360-degree “Coastiality” content. Thanks to the partnership, MackMedia’s “Coastiality app” will include both Lotte World coasters starting next year – at that time, the app will be available in Korean language as well. “This partnership offers us the opportunity to spread our ‘Coastiality’ brand within the Asian countries. This is an important step for us to continue developing MackMedia’s range of digital offers,” explained Michael Mack. (eap)
