Germany/USA: Simtec Systems and Setpoint Sign Strategic Partnership

The German company Simtec Systems GmbH, one of the leading providers of simulator systems, flying theaters and dark rides, and US-based Setpoint Inc. – with its focus on roller coasters, show action equipment and custom engineering of amusement rides – recently signed a strategic partnership agreement. Simtec will act as Setpoint’s sales agent for Asia, Europe and the Middle East – in return, Setpoint will act as Simtec’s project partner for North America.

“We see a lot of potential for our simulator systems, especially for our flying theater product, in the American market. It is easier to access this with a strong partner like Setpoint. On the other side it is a huge advantage for Setpoint working with Simtec and its market position and subsidiary Simtec Asia for the European and Asian market,” stated Bernd Kaufmann, CEO of Simtec Systems. Furthermore, it is also planned that Setpoint will take over parts of Simtec’s manufacturing and after sales services for potential new projects in North America. (eap)
