Gerstlauer: “Hankatten” Spinning Coaster in BonBon-Land, Denmark
“Hankatten” is the name of the new spinning coaster from Gerstlauer Amusement Rides for Bonbon-Land in Holme-Ostrup, Denmark. This spinning coaster is the first of its kind in Europe and is sure to be a hit with the whole family. According to specifications from BonBon-Land, “Hankatten” (tomcat) will be mounted on a base stand, and despite its compact dimensions (width 54 metres, depth 24 metres, height 16m), will definitely get riders’ adrenaline going: first a drop, then three wild mouse bends, a 360° upward spiral followed by a 630° downward spiral, a 75° hairpin bend and a bunny hop before the eddy current brakes. The tracks are 397 metres long. The coaster accommodates 600 riders an hour. This is the second Gerstlauer rollercoaster for the Danish park, following the successful premiere of the “Vild Svinet” Euro Fighter. The new roller coaster is scheduled to open on the 30th of June.
