GochNess Leisure Pool Celebrates 25th Anniversary
(eap) The GochNess leisure pool on the Lower Rhine in Germany is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. GochNess was officially opened in June 1999 and has welcomed around 320,000 visitors per year since then. Operated by Stadtwerke Goch, the leisure pool offers its guests a water landscape with an adventure pool, stream channel and a 65-metre-long tube slide with time measurement as well as a water climbing wall. Sports swimmers can swim their laps in the 25-metre competition pool. Also, there is a children’s pool with a play structure for the youngest bathers. Furthermore, the pool offers a sauna area with eight saunas, including a beach sauna with a view of the lake, as well as the TULI sauna, which is located in the lake and can be reached via a footbridge. The facility also has its own restaurant and offers a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments.
