Gulliver's Theme Park Resorts and The Scouts Announce Partnership
UK theme park chain Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts and charity The Scouts have announced their three-year partnership. As a scouting group, The Scouts’ goal is to support young people developing life skills and values. Beginning this year, which also marks Gulliver’s Resorts’ 45th anniversary, various activities will start as part of the cooperation. Among them are the “Jamboree Weekends” for scout groups, which will be held in June and September. These will bring together groups from across the country at Gulliver parks for activities that include orienteering and bushcraft skills. In addition, other tailored offerings and exclusive discount entries for scout groups are planned. As part of the collaboration, Gulliver’s has also sponsored a Beaver Scout badge for children ages six to eight (“My Outdoor Challenge” badge), which they can earn embarking on a camp or sleepover by completing mini challenges.
“We are thrilled to announce this special partnership between Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts and The Scouts to encourage and enhance our shared values of adventure, friendship, being outdoors and learning life skills. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce our tailored group adventures to thousands of uniform and badge groups across the country. There will be more exciting announcements in the months ahead as our like-minded organisations embark on this brand-new adventure together,” said Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts managing director Julie Dalton.
