Happy Birthday! Albert Ritter Turns 60!
Albert Ritter, son of a well-established showmen family from Berlin, was born “on the traditional Hanover fun fair” on 2 July 1953. The Essen-based showman is carrying on the travelling business of his family in the fifth-generation. He was elected President of the German Showmen Union (DSB) by the association’s deputies in Oldenburg in 2003, and he still presides over the association today. Albert Ritter has known the fun fair business since his early childhood and his commitment to his profession has been successful for years. Since January 2006 Albert Ritter has been President of the European Showmen Union (ESU). Founded in 1954, the trade association is devoted to support the interests of the showmen at European level.
