Holland-Park Sees Successful First Season & Announces Numerous Novelties
The Holland Park near Berlin, which opened its gates on 6 April last year for the very first time, will celebrate its anniversary tomorrow. It looks back on the past season with great satisfaction: the park has welcomed some 750,000 visitors to its Holland-inspired recreational world. A number that, according to founder and owner Theo Roelofs, has clearly exceeded the expectations. “[…] The enthusiasm and positive feedback inspire us to plan new attractions and activities in the future,” says Roelofs.
The first new attractions await visitors from the Easter holidays onwards. The younger guests can look forward to a (children’s) go-kart track, an additional water bouncy cushion and several new trampolines. There will also be a Playmobil exhibition in the garden center. In May, a new Dutch coffee shop will open, offering coffee, pastries and typical Dutch stroopwafels as well as crêpes. Four more family attractions will be added to the park just in time for the summer holidays. A tulip tower (swing ride), a nostalgic merry-go-round, a bunny hop and a horse ride are scheduled to go in operation then. These four novelties are being manufactured by SBF-Visa.
