Intamin Presents New “Family LSM Coaster” & “Dome Ride 40”
(eap) Attraction manufacturer Intamin Amusement Rides has released two new products. Firstly, the “Family LSM”, which is a new family-friendly roller coaster model, and secondly, a new, more compact version of the “Dome Ride Theatre”: “Dome Ride 40”.
Family LSM The former is a Family Launch Coaster with a new LSM system. The Family LSM promises an airtime of up to -0.4G as well as a high degree of customizability with elements such as fast switches, spikes, backward launch and inversions. On-board audio and LED can also be integrated. With a minimum body height of one meter (39 inches), the model is also suitable for the younger target group.
Also, Intamin has launched a more compact version of its Dome Ride Theatre, the large model of which was first realized at SeaWorld® Yas Island AbuDhabi (“Hypersphere 360°”). Like its “big brother”, the Dome Ride 40 is equipped with a 360-degree LED dome and has the same dynamic capabilities, including up to six RPM rotation and a 30-degree tilting ring. In addition, the attraction offers 4D effects such as seat vibration, scents and wind. By removing the retracting LED show floor and incorporating retractable handrails, the model has also been optimized for the loading and unloading process. The capacity of the Dome Ride is 40 passengers per cycle, as the product name suggests.
Both novelties will be showcased by the family-run company at this week’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando.
