Italy: Gardaland Adds VR Technology to “Magic Mountain“ Coaster

More and more amusement parks follow the current trend to add VR technology to their existing rollercoasters to create an entirely new ride experience on an “old” ride. Now the Italian Gardaland also announced to equip its popular “Magic Mountain” coaster with virtual reality. With the aid of special VR glasses, riders experience the ride’s thrilling side turns and double loop in a new way. However, Gardaland has not yet revealed which virtual world will be added to “Magic Mountain” for the 2017 season. (eap)
