Italy: Gardaland Resort to Open „Kung Fu Panda Academy“

Italy’s Gardaland Resort, which will open its new “Gardaland Adventure Hotel” on June 1 (cf. EAP News from September 11, 2015), has announced a further novelty for this season. The resort has concluded an agreement with DreamWorks Animation for realizing a new themed area based on the latest “Kung Fu Panda” movie produced by the US-based animation studio. As of May, the “Kung Fu Panda Academy” will offer fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The new area will feature interactive games as well as several attractions including the “Kung Fu Panda Master” roller coaster. A characteristic colorful pagoda will serve as stage when popular movie protagonists such as “Po” and “Tigress” will demonstrate their martial arts. The audience will be seated on the steps of an amphitheater on the opposite side of the pagoda during the show. Children will have the possibility to improve their martial skills in the new area. A sushi restaurant as well as several souvenir stands will round off the offer. (eap)
