Italy: New FEC “Luna Farm“ in Bologna To Open within 2019
The new FEC in Bologna, which was announced in February this year (cf. EAP-News f. 15 Feb 2019) and will be named “Luna Farm“, will open to visitors within 2019 as a part of FICO Eataly World. “Luna Farm“, which was initiated by Italian manufacturer Zamperla, will be the first farm-themed amusement park in Italy according to the park, and is specially designed for families. 15 themed attractions such as a chicken designed suspended monorail, a panoramic mill wheel or a bull-paddock themed bumper car with interactive projections on the floor will provide a family-friendly amusement experience. The indoor park was designed by Team Park Project and will provide visitors also with new augmented and interactive reality attractions by Zamperla’s business division Z+. The topic of inclusivity and accessibility also has a high priority in the park‘s facilities.
The eleven million euro project will operate on an indoor surface of 6,500 square metres and is located within Bologna‘s CAAB, the agrocultural food centre of the city, in which FICO Eataly World is also located. Alberto Zamperla, President of Zamperla Group, highlights: “We are proud of this partnership with FICO Eataly World because we share the same mission, i.e. promoting Italian excellence in the world. […] Luna Farm arrives at the second year of FICO as a natural evolution of a project that anticipates future trends: FICO offers innovative answers to the changing needs of consumers, where entertainment plays a key role.“ (eap)
