Italy: Zamperla Developing Concepts to Enhance Virus Infection Protection on Theme Park Rides

Italian ride manufacturer Zamperla recently revealed plans for a new product development, aimed at making a park visit even safer for visitors when it comes to protection against virus infections. To ensure social distancing is possible even during a ride on the guests' favourite attractions, Zamperla is developing plexiglass safety barriers, which can be attached to the seating area. The idea is to install such plexiglass barriers in the “evergreen“ attractions of Zamperla such as “Magic Bikes“, “Disk’O“ or “NebulaZ“, which are part of the visitor offer in many theme parks worldwide. According to manufacturer, the installation will be “easy, fast and affordable“. (eap)
