Jordan/UAE: Saraya Aqaba Waterpark Now Open to the Public

Since last weekend, the new Saraya Aqaba Waterpark in the port city of Aqaba in Jordan is now officially open for visitors (see EAP news of 11 May 2021). With more than 25 rides, water slides and experiences as well as gastronomy and shopping offers tailored to families, the largest water park in the Kingdom, according to its own statement, aims to attract both locals and foreign tourists. Amusement Logic is responsible for designing and equipping the facility, which covers a total area of 28,500 square meters and features waterslides (including the “Pella Plunge”, “Dead Sea Drop” and “Syagha Serpent”) and a water playground (“Aqua Jerash”).

Abdullah Al-Fraihat, CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan, the developer of the water park, said: “First announced in 2018, we are immensely proud to be opening Saraya Aqaba Waterpark a mere two years later.
