Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana Now Open at EPCOT

(eap) Today, The Walt Disney Company is not only celebrating its 100th birthday, but also the opening of a new attraction – the first at a Disney theme park to immerse visitors in the world of the animated movie “Moana”. The new “edutainment walkthrough” is part of the transformation of the EPCOT theme park in Bay Lake, Florida. In “Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana” in the “World Nature” land, visitors of all ages can interact with water in a variety of ways, getting inspired to value and protect this precious resource. On the way along the nature trail, park guests will encounter characters from the animated film, e.g. carved into rock formations. The discovery trail has accessible pathways so that it is open to everyone – depending on preference, visitors can stay dry or get wet on their journey through Moana’s world. ■
