Kalahari Resorts Texas with New Outdoor Water Park Attractions
(eap) Four locations in the U.S. are home to the Nelson family’s African-themed Kalahari Resorts & Conventions water parks. The one in Round Rock, Texas, has been thrilling visitors with three new outdoor water park attractions since this summer. Young guests can enjoy a new water playground called “Bugs Burrow”, which features swings and nine slides from WhiteWater West. Adults can enjoy “Thirsty Turtle”, an approximately 1,100-square-foot (approx. 100-square-meter) bar where a drink can be enjoyed both on land and in the pool.
Also, a new Adventure River offers fun for the whole family. One half of the 900-foot (approx. 270-meter) -long and three-feet (90-centimeter)-deep river is equipped with wave technology from Murphys Waves, hence bathing guests can look forward to exciting waves. The other half is designed to be rather calm – resembling a lazy river. The Adventure River was designed by Water Technology Inc. and built by Neumann Pools. ■
