Kentucky Kingdom Announces Details about New Rides
(eap) The American theme park Kentucky Kingdom, which has been part of the Herschend Group since 2021, has announced details about its coming new attractions for the 2025 season. Visitors can look forward to three new, family-friendly rides, which will debut as part of a new themed area in May this year. A total of eleven million US dollars (over 10.7 million euros) will be invested. The new attractions include a train that takes passengers on a journey through the wilderness and a ride on which visitors can fly in bird gondolas. Visitors to the park can also look forward to a new round ride where they can hop up and down in circles in gondolas designed like squirrels. Furthermore, there will also be a new playground.
“I know that families are going to love these new rides and our brand-new land that celebrates Kentucky,” said Sarah Worrell, General Manager at Kentucky Kingdom. “This is just the first of many exciting announcements we have planned for this year. We can’t wait to share more thrilling news with our community soon!”. In addition to the new family attractions, ten existing attractions are also to receive new theming, and two gastronomic offers are to be upgraded. The park plans to invest a total of 25 million US dollars (around 24.5 million euros) until next year. ■
