Kirchhundem/Germany: “Back to the Roots” is the Motto at Panorama-Park
Once again, wild safaris and shows with birds of prey are on the daily agenda at the tradition-rich park in Sauerland. Back to the roots, so to speak. The toboggan run called “Fichtenflitzer” (literally “spruce racer”) is basically the only thing left over from the “old” park. Over the medium-term, the facility intends to present itself as a “real” wildlife park once again. Numerous animals have therefore been acquired since the takeover, and investments have been made in a number of slides, a go-kart rink, climbing fort, labyrinth and learning trails. Roughly 70,000 visitors are expected this year – as many as last year. (eap)
