Knott’s Berry Farm Looks Forward to Boysenberry Festival & New Hotel
(eap) Southern California’s Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, operated by Cedar Fair, is looking forward to its annual “Knott’s Boysenberry Festival” and the reopening of Knott’s Hotel. Several million US dollars have been invested in the renovation of the park’s hotel, which included all 322 guest rooms of the hotel as well as the reception, meeting rooms, the courtyard, the gift store and the hotel restaurant. Farm-inspired, classic American dishes await visitors in the new hotel restaurant “Thirty Acres Kitchen”.

Specifically, everything revolves around the “boysenberry”, a US cross between a type of blackberry and the loganberry, which in turn is a cross between a type of blackberry and the raspberry. Visitors can taste more than 75 recipes, both savory and sweet with a unique boysenberry twist. In addition, live music and shows such as “Knott’s Preserved” or a special performance of the comedy melodrama “Riverboat Revenge”, a boysenberry pie-eating contest and a craft market, where visitors can discover various local specialties and handicrafts, await park guests. The Boysenberry Festival takes place from March 8 to April 28.
In May visitors can look forward to the opening of the redesigned “Camp Snoopy” area with three new rides, which is set to open on Memorial Day weekend (see our EAP news here). A reopening date for the classic Schwarzkopf roller coaster “Montezooma’s Revenge”, which was temporarily closed at the beginning of 2022 as part of modernization works, is still pending. ■
