Kreuztal-Krombach / Germany: Visitor Center of Krombacher Brauerei Opened

The planning for a new visitor center at the Krombacher Brauerei (brewery) in the North Rhine-Westphalia region began about two years ago. The new “Krombacher Erlebniswelt” (“Krombacher Experience World”) was finally opened this January. While the original visitor center was already opened in 1997, the expansion with further innovative exhibits and elements is expected to attract more visitors than before. Seven new “experience stations”, a redesigned cinema and a new shop are just a few of the new elements at the visitor center. Virtually three million Euros have been invested in the expansion. Operators hope to increase attendance figures from 74,000 to 100,000 guests per year. (eap)
