Leolandia Is Italy’s Second Most Popular Amusement Park

The online-based travel platform TripAdvisor recently published the results of this year’s “Traveler’s Choice Awards”, based on the ratings of millions of TripAdvisor users. In the “Most Popular Italian Amusement & Aquatic Parks” category Leolandia ranks second, following winner Gardaland Park. Mirabilandia ranks third. With an average mark of 4.5/5 Leolandia could improve its rating compared to last year. According to the survey, the main reason for the positive result is the amusement park’s general high quality. Guests especially appreciate the staff’s competence and kindness, the peculiarity of the park’s contents, the offered services as well as Leolandia’s cleanliness. A further factor contributing to the positioning can be seen in the park’s dynamic pricing platform which enables Leolandia to sell most of its tickets online. Additionally, this year’s new attraction, the “Peppa Pig World” (cf. EAP News from July 4, 2014), enjoys great popularity among the visitors. “We’re satisfied and proud of this result, reached thanks to hard work and diligence but above all enthusiasm and passion,” Leolandia’s V.P. Strategic Development, Massimiliano Freddi, comments on the ranking. The family-friendly amusement park located in North-West Italy consists of five thematic areas featuring 39 rides and attractions for all ages. (eap)
