Markus Mack-Even Intensifies Consulting Services
(eap) Leisure professional and entrepreneur Markus Mack-Even (photo), who opened the indoor theme park Ticiland in Stein am Rhein (eastern Switzerland) in fall 2020 together with his business partner, Swiss showman Peter Hablützel, is withdrawing from the direct operational business of the leisure destination. Peter Hablützel will continue to run the park, which offers numerous family attractions and, since summer 2021, a small outdoor area. Mack-Even, which remains a shareholder of Ticiland (also read our cover story about the park in EAP 1/2021), will strengthen the focus on his consultancy company Mack Management Entertainment (MME), which has been in existence for several years, to increasingly support theme park and resort operators in the conception and design of their experiences, including on an international level.
Interested parties can find out more about the consultancy’s three key services – project management, network and guest experience – on a newly launched website. Mack-Even’s expertise is extensive: including several years of project work for Universal Studios Singapore and IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai, where the experienced leisure professional worked with well-known IP brands including Marvel (Disney) and Cartoon Network (Turner Broadcasting). With the Swiss Ticiland, the family father has launched his first own project together with Peter Hablützel. The indoor park accommodates a wide range of rides designed for families in a hall measuring around 4,600 square metres: the attractions include a Force Two coaster, a wave swinger and a family freefall tower from German manufacturer Zierer. ■
