Switzerland: New Ticiland Theme Park Open with Completed Outdoor Area

In October last year, the new Ticiland amusement park opened its gates in Stein am Rhein with a wide range of indoor attractions and experiences for families (cf. cover story EAP 1/2021). The start of the very first season was challenging – like other leisure facilities in Switzerland and around the world, Ticiland had to close for several months in the course of the pandemic restrictions.

However, the initiators and managing directors of the park, Markus Mack-Even and showman Peter Hablützel, stuck to their vision to further develop the destination, so Ticiland, which is now back in operation, welcomes visitors in the recently completed outdoor area, too. The realm complements the main indoor offering and features additional family fun. An e-car racing track, a roundabout (from Zierer), a Magic Bike and Watermania attraction (both by Zamperla) and a children’s playground attract guests during the summer months. With both indoor and outdoor attractions, Ticiland is now ideally positioned for year-round operation. (eap)
