Model for New Theme Park in Iceland

The two Norwegian mythologists Haukur Halldorsson and Sverrir Sigurjonsson have created a model for a new mythology based theme park in Iceland. Visitors should be able to experience Iceland’s Viking ancestors with trolls, elves and giants. The park includes nine different theme worlds, e.g. the “World of the Dwarves” and requires an area of 1.5 x 1.5 km. Both artists are confident of finding a financing for the project but they are also able to scale back their plan slightly to make it a realistic prospect in Iceland. (eap)
