NL: Toverland Again Offers Temporary Camping Site As Of May
After its premiere last year, the Dutch amusement park Toverland will again operate a pop-up campsite near the wooden roller coaster “Troy” as a temporary accommodation offering this summer (cf. EAP news of 3 Aug 2020). From May 1st to September 5th, 2021, visitors to the park will be able to rent a two-, four- or six-person already furnished tent or using one of the more than 100 sites for RVs, caravans or tents. The price per day (starting from 25 euros without tourist tax) includes admission to Toverland. The campsite, which was once again set up on a previous parking lot, offers electricity as well as central sanitary facilities.
“With the Pop-Up Summer Camp we want to respond to the trend that people want to spend more vacations in the immediate vicinity of a special location. Our campsite was fully booked during the last summer vacations and can therefore be described as a complete success. We are very proud that we can offer our visitors an unforgettable experience with the Pop-Up Summer Camp this year again,” explains Anne-Chris Janssen, Manager Guest Service at Toverland. (eap)
