Netherlands: Avonturenpark Hellendorn Adds Two New Attractions to its Portfolio
Dutch Avonturenpark Hellendorn amusement park, which achieved an increase in visitor numbers between five to ten percent in 2018 (cf. our Park Report in EAP 2/19), has announced the addition of two new attractions to its visitor offer in the upcoming season. Located in its “pirate” theme area, the new “Fort Knalkruit” bumper cars indoor attraction (supplied by Bertazzon) will provide fun for the whole family. In the park’s “Dreumesland” kids’ area, young visitors can look forward to the new mini drop tower “Ruimtereis” (from SBF-Visa).
“[…] Baba’s Ruimtereis, a mini drop tower, is especially for the smallest adventurers in Dreumesland. Fort Knalkruit is suitable for children, parents and grandparents […]. Fort Knalkruit will, in terms of its theme, fit perfectly with the Pirate Area and will definitely take a relevant position. It attracts attention and the building will be impressive. The bumper cars will get an astonishing design which reveals the ‘explosive’ character of the attraction. In addition, we are extremely happy that the bumper cars are returning after 30 years, in a new and modern look, and that we expand the pirate area with an indoor attraction for the whole family […],” says René Peul, Marketing Manager, Avonturenpark Hellendorn.
The park, which belongs to French Looping Group, will start into the new season on April 6th. (eap)
