Netherlands: Efteling to Tranform “De Steenbok“ Restaurant into “Widow Bolte’s Kitchen“

The new “Max and Moritz“ family coaster at Netherland’s Efteling theme park, which is scheduled to open this spring, is highly anticipated by visitors (cf. EAP news 9 Oct 2018). But this will not be the only place where the two rascals from the Wilhelm Busch books will appear.

The park just announced the transformation of its existing “De Steenbok“ restaurant into “Widow Bolte’s Kitchen“, a character who was tricked by Max and Moritz two times. Fitting with the story, the restaurant will offer French fries and chicken snacks in the future. Furthermore, the park will redesign the area around the “Steenbok Place“ with Max and Moritz theming until the end of 2020. (eap)
