Netherlands: Slagharen Themepark & Resort Appoints Dave Storm New General Manager
Dave Storm, neuer General Manager des Freizeit- und Ferienparks Slagharen.
Slagharen Themepark & Resort, operated by Parques Reunidos, has recently appointed Dave Storm new General Manager of the company, effective 2nd September. The 39-year old takes over the position from Wouter Pops, who succeeded former park manager Wouter Dekkers earlier this year, when Dekkers was appointed General Manager of Germany’s Tropical Islands waterpark (cp. EAP News f. 18 Jan 2019 & 12 Dec 2018).
Most recently, Storm held the position of General Manager of the Mennorode Hotel & Conference Center. Previously, he worked in management positions at companies such as Sandton Hotels, Landal Green Parks and Center Parcs. “I’m looking forward to joining the team of Slagharen to continue the success story of the theme park resort and usher in the next phase of growth. Together with the team, we will work on the further development of the park to bring even brighter smiles to the faces of our guests, employees and business partners and achieve further success,” says Storm.
Wouter Dekkers adds, “Dave is full of energy and has a wealth of experience in the hotel business and hospitality industry. […] The park is in a constant state of development and Dave’s expertise, hands-on mentality and result-oriented approach are very welcome.
