Netherlands: Slagharen Themepark & Resort Starts with New 4D Film & Events into 2020 Season
The Dutch Slagharen Themepark & Resort will start into its new season on March 27th. This year, the Wild West-themed amusement park, which is operated by Parques Reunidos, will enthuse visitors with a new western circus show, the new 4D film “Storks” (from SimEx!Iwerks) and a spectacular stunt show. In addition, there will be special events for families such as the “kids’ festival” on Easter Sunday.
Besides its over 30 “cowboy” attractions (including the “Gold Rush” triple launch coaster from Gerstlauer, which opened in 2017, cf. EAP 4/2017), Slagharen offers a wide range of accommodation facilities such as camping in caravans or even comfortable lodges with jacuzzi, for which the park was recently awarded with the “HolidayCheck Award 2020”. “We are very proud that we received this award as the only accommodation site in the Netherlands. It proves that our guests feel comfortable and that the quality of our accommodation meets a high standard. Of course, the award is also an incentive for us to continue developing the park. We are therefore grateful for all comments and evaluations and include them in our planning,” comments Dave Storm, CEO of Slagharen. (eap)
