Netherlands: Vekoma Supplies New Train for Booster Bike Coaster at Toverland
For the Booster Bike coaster at Toverland theme park, Dutch manufacturer Vekoma recently supplied a new train in order to further maximize the riding fun on the steel attraction. The new train’s bikes received a nearly identical design to those of the former train model, but instead of an eye on their front sites they show the Toverland park logo. Up to 16 persons can rush along the 600 meter long coaster track at the same time, reaching a max. speed of 75 km/h.
Also new this year is the offer to stay overnight at Toverland on the pop-up campsite located on the parking lot close to the “Troy” wooden coaster. Visitors can arrive in their own caravan or bring their own tent or book one of the fully equipped two- to six-person tents offered by the park. A total of 120 pitches are available and can be used until mid-August (23rd). (eap)
