New “Game of Thrones“ Touring Exhibition to Premiere in Germany on Nov 27th
Based on the “Game of ThronesTM” US fantasy television series, which is broadcasted on cable TV channel HBO, fans will be able to discover the equally named touring exhibition (cp. EAP news from July 20th, 2017) in Germany, too, when it premieres on Nov 27th in a temporary exhibition hall in the city of Oberhausen, bringing the world of Westeros and Essos to life. In partnership with HBO Licensing & Retail, the global event company GES Events has designed and built the public exhibition, which will be presented in Germany in cooperation with AWC AG. Visitors will be able to discover numerous objects and artefacts, costumes, props and majestic settings from the seven seasons of the series spread over an area of over 1,000 square meters, divided into several exhibition halls. Interactive and multimedia contents will round off the experience, immersing fans directly into the story.
“The fan community of ‘Game of Thrones’ stretches all over the world and we are happy to be able to reach as many of them as possible through this experience. The exhibition was a great hit in Spain and France, and we are sure that lovers of the series in Germany will also queue up to see it, when it debuts here soon,” said Jeff Peters, Vice President of Licensing and Retail, HBO.

The Game of Thrones touring exhibition will be presented for a limited time period in a temporary exhibition hall located at the promenade of CentrO Oberhausen retail complex. (eap)
