New “Holsterturm” Playground Attraction in Nieheim
(eap) A new themed playground has been created in Nieheim, Germany. The new play tower was modeled to resemble the 700-year-old “Holster Tower”, a well-known landmark of the town of Nieheim, with great attention to detail. With a stone block look, lookouts, arched gates and battlements, a medieval play world has been created here. The “Nieheimer Käselädchen” (cheese store) was designed at ground level, which also has a local connection. The new play structure from Playparc invites children to imaginative role-plays.
The play structure version of the Holster Tower offers various paths over several levels on the way up and ends in a balcony with a view of its “big brother”. Two stainless steel slides designed for different age groups lead downwards. The “LUUPZ” long-bow carousel for children aged five and over is also one of its fun rides. In spring, the playground will be extended to include a barrier-free EPDM area and an inclusion carousel (“Tivat” model). ■
