New Activity Park Opens at N-Flow in Germany
(eap) The N-Flow Freizeitpark in Netphen in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, which has been under the management of Managing Director Michael Niederkorn since the spring of this year, has a wide range of exercise and health facilities for its guests, including a leisure pool complex, a sauna world, a physiotherapy practice, a fitness studio, a squash court, a soccer park and a trampoline arena. To offer visitors further opportunities for active exercise, the N-Flow recently opened a new activity park behind its trampoline arena. This can be used by guests free of charge and contains various elements. These include a natural playground with climbing landscape for children, a boules court, a streetball field, a calisthenics area (training on equipment using the own body weight), a basketball court and a skateboarding track. The total cost of the project amount to 1.2 million euros, most of which was subsidized by federal funds.
For the future, it is planned to demolish the former ice rink – which is still located on the site of the N-Flow but has not been in operation for years – in order to be able to use the resulting space for other purposes. Various possibilities are already being discussed, such as the creation of a restaurant or a camping site. ■
