New CEO & CCO for Center Parcs Europe
Since the beginning of March this year, Olivier Garaïalde (photo right) has been supporting the management team of the European holiday park provider as a member of the Management Board and new CEO of Center Parcs Europe. With more than 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, most recently as CEO of Farah Leisure, the 54-year-old is now to drive forward the transformation of the company with a particular focus on its international development as well as the digitalization and improvement of Center Parcs' offering. Garaïalde will be in close contact with Franck Gervais, CEO of the French company group.
With Sylvain Bosc (photo left) another new member to the Management Board has joined the group as new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Center Parcs Europe, directly reporting to Olivier Garaïalde. The 49-year-old tourism expert, who was appointed Vice President Europe of Qatar Airways in London in 2019 and most recently worked as a consultant for the development and restructuring of companies in the transport and tourism sectors, will now lead the further development of the Center Parcs brand in the French and international markets.
Only recently, the responsible Center Parcs managers signed a memorandum with the town of Ribnitz-Damgarten for a new vacation park complex on the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany (see EAP news of 11.11.20). (eap)
