New Coaster: Hansa-Park Reveals Best Kept Secret 1
(eap) Hansa-Park in Sierksdorf has revealed one of its “Best Kept Secrets”... during the 2026 season, visitors can look forward to a new family coaster in the “Bezauberndes Britannien” (Beautiful Britain) themed area. The park’s eighth roller coaster will have a ride length of around 570 meters and a total of six launches (three forward and three backward). The roller coaster train, which will have a total of 20 seats, will reach a maximum speed of 50 kilometres per hour and a height of 18 meters. The attraction will be supplied by German manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, which has already installed the Euro-Fighter “Escape of Novgorod” (2009), the Family Coaster “Midgard Serpent” (2011) and the Infinity Coaster “The Oath of Kärnan” (2015) at the park.
In addition to the new coaster, work is also continuing on the imposing building in the entrance area of Hansa-Park. This is to become the “Palacio de Braga”. The park is still keeping secret what visitors can expect inside the building. This season, Hansa-Park will open “Einar’s Fjord Ride”, a Kontiki family attraction from Zierer. In addition, modernization work will be carried out in the Beautiful Britain themed area. Among other things, the mini car scooter “1903 Somerset Traffic” will receive a theming upgrade. ■
