New Digital Future Food Experience in Venlo
(eap) A new exhibition on the future of agriculture has opened at Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo – part of Brightlands, an open innovation community in Limburg (Netherlands) with over 29,000 entrepreneurs, researchers and students. The focus of the exhibition lays on innovations and new developments in the agricultural and food industry, such as modern cultivation systems that should contribute to a healthy diet. The heart of the exhibition is an enclosed dome with a diameter of nine meters, in which an eight-minute 360-degree video is shown. Visitors are taken on a senses-stimulating journey of discovery. This is made possible using eight laser projectors, a scent machine, pixel-controlled LED lighting and customized audio-visual content. The technological solutions were implemented by the Dutch company Lagotronics Projects. Up to 14 people can immerse themselves in the digital exhibition at the same time. ■
