New Restaurant: Tiana’s Palace Opening Soon at Disneyland Anaheim

(eap) On September 7, the new restaurant “Tiana’s Palace” – inspired by the Disney movie “Kiss the Frog” (2009) – will open at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. The restaurant is the next step in integrating the Disney movie story into the park’s “New Orleans Square” area. So far, a gift store called “Eudora’s Chic Boutique” has opened here, where merchandise related to the film can be purchased. A new attraction called “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” is scheduled to open next year. Tiana’s Restaurant, opening soon, is a transformation of the “French Market Restaurant” that previously existed and served as the original inspiration for Tiana’s Restaurant in the animated film. Now, the interior as well as the exterior of the restaurant will take visitors into the world from “Kiss the Frog” through detailed theming elements. Frog porcelains, Tiana’s cookbook collection, her father’s favourite gumbo spoon and many more details await Disney fans at the new restaurant. ■
