New Finding Nemo Water World at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel
(eap) Since yesterday, guests to Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California have been able to enjoy a new water playground in the style of “Finding Nemo”. This is part of the ongoing transformation of the Paradise Pier Hotel into the Pixar Place Hotel. In the new pool area on the third-floor rooftop terrace, families can splash around in the Pixar pool, rush down the approximately 186-foot (57-meters)-long Crush’s Surfin’ Slide or frolic on the splash pad. Adults can relax in the whirlpool or enjoy a drink at the pool bar, which is set to open soon. In addition, a play area for families is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, offering a variety of activities inspired by famous Pixar short films such as “La Luna”, “Bao” and “For the Birds”.
A new restaurant by Great Maple will open on the hotel’s second floor in fall 2023. The restaurant chain will operate other restaurants in the hotel, too. It specializes on upscale comfort food and serves freshly interpreted American classics. Work will also be done on the lobby of the Pixar Place Hotel in the upcoming months. In the future, images from Pixar films featuring popular characters will be displayed here. The hotel will remain open throughout the remodelling work, which is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. ■
