Next-Gen Crayola Experience to Open in Pigeon Forge, TN
(eap) In the fall of 2024, a next-generation Crayola Experience indoor world is scheduled to open in the small town of Pigeon Forge in the U.S. state of Tennessee – the popular tourist destination is also home to numerous other well-known leisure attractions such as the Dollywood theme park, The Island amusement park and also the Rowdy Bear Ridge Adventure Park. The new family entertainment venue is being created as part of a collaboration between crayon manufacturer Crayola LLC, BrightColors LLC and Kingsmen Xperience Inc. The licensing partners had already announced in 2022 that they planned to open five new Crayola Experience facilities in the US market over the next five years – so the first of these is now being created at this location. Five Crayola Experience indoor branded facilities already exist in the US. The 30,000-square-foot (around 2,800-square-meter) indoor facility will feature more than 20 hands-on attractions, as well as a retail store where guests will have access to the world’s largest selection of Crayola products.
“Crayola Experience at Pigeon Forge will introduce new colorful adventures to our iconic lineup of imagination-inspiring activities, taking the experience to a new level,” said Warren Schorr, Crayola Senior Vice President Business Development, Global Licensing & Experiences. “We’ve sharpened our crayons to create a new experience that transports guests into the whimsical world of Crayola crayons and markers.” ■
