Nickelodeon Areas for Majaland Parks in Poland

(eap) Theme park operator Momentum Leisure, known for the development and operation of theme parks in Central and Eastern Europe, is intensifying its cooperation with Paramount Location-Based Entertainment & Experiences. As part of the partnership, the three Polish Majaland parks – in Gdańsk, Kownaty and Warsaw – will each receive a new, themed Nickelodeon zone.
In these new areas, guests can meet popular characters from the Nickelodeon universe, including "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Patrick" as well as the "PAW Patrol" heroes "Chase", "Marshall" and "Skye". Majaland Gdańsk will begin with the opening of the first Nickelodeon zone, followed by the other two locations.
Momentum Leisure is the owner, developer and operator of the parks, while Paramount is responsible for the long-term design and licensing of the branded content. "We are proud of the close collaboration with our partner Paramount. With the prominent presence of the very popular Nickelodeon characters – with exclusive rights for Poland and Romania – we’re providing our guests with an even more beautiful range of entertainment," highlights Roland Gerets, Chief Marketing Officer of Momentum Leisure.
With the opening of Majaland Gdańsk last year, Momentum Leisure now operates three parks in Poland. Other locations include Majaland Kownaty (2018) near the German border and Majaland Warsaw (2022). The parks attract a total of almost 300,000 visitors a year. A fourth location is already being planned: a new theme park is set to open in Gliwice in 2027, which is expected to attract around 11.4 million potential visitors to the region. ■
