Grand Opening of Majaland Gdansk

Grand Opening of Majaland Gdansk

(eap) After a soft opening phase, Majaland Gdansk will celebrate its official opening tomorrow, June 29. Following the opening of Majaland Kownaty in 2018 and Majaland Warsaw in 2022, this is the third Majaland in Poland. As already known from the other Majaland parks, the park based around the popular children’s series character “Maya the Bee” and her friends has both an indoor and an outdoor area, allowing it to operate all year round. On nearly 20,000 square meters, visitors will find 24 family-friendly attractions that are supposed to promise fun for children of all ages.

“After the successful opening of Majaland Kownaty and Warsaw, we are happy that this success has a continuation and we were able to inaugurate the third park of this type in Poland. With the opening of Majaland Gdańsk, we aim to become the leader of theme parks in Poland and make it the most popular leisure destination, also for tourists from abroad,” said Joanna Goś, Marketing and Sales Director of Majaland Poland. The park is expecting around 160,000 visitors by the end of 2024. A total of 750,000 guests are expected in all Majalands. The investor behind the new theme park is once again the Dutch company Momentum Capital.

In addition to the various attractions in Majaland, there are also various restaurants and cafés as well as suitable merchandise and various quiet zones. “Thanks to attractions adapted to the age of children, parents can be sure that the time spent in the park will be safe, valuable and, above all, great fun. Our parks are not only a place for fun and relaxation, but also a platform for education and building environmental awareness. We believe that we can act in harmony with nature while providing an unforgettable experience for our guests,” states Goś.
