Now Open: Hyper Ride Dark Ride at Niagara Falls
(eap) The new “Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride” dark ride from Triotech has opened at the Clifton Hill: Fun by the Falls entertainment district in Niagara Falls in the Canadian province of Ontario. This attraction type is one of the latest developments by the supplier, which we reported on in EAP issue 6/2021.
On an area covering some 560 square meters (6,000 square feet), seven interactive scenes with digital theming elements await the guests. In vehicles for up to four people, which can rotate by 360 degrees on the track, guests ride past various screens and can duel each other to see who can hit more targets with their shooting device.
“Hyper Ride is a unique award-winning attraction that changes the game for Location Based Entertainment venues,” mentioned Ernest Yale, President and CEO of Triotech. He added: “This attraction delivers a destination park level experience but for a fraction of the investment and space requirements. We have several such projects in the planning stage.”
Unlike classic darkride attractions, the entire track does not run inside the building, but rather a short section of track exits the building, which should give visitors to the Entertainment Mile a better impression of the attraction and get them excited for a ride. ■
