ODYSSEUM Cologne: Immerse Yourself in the World of Marvel

(eap) At the ODYSSEUM in Cologne, Germany, visitors can embark on a journey through over 85 years of Marvel history until June 22, 2025. As part of the international traveling exhibition “Marvel: The Exhibition – Universe of Super Heroes”, Marvel fans can take a look behind the scenes of the franchise and discover some 200 exhibits, including original costumes and props from the blockbuster films. Walk-through backdrops, interactive elements and appropriate sound bring the comic book world of popular superheroes such as “Iron Man”, “Spider-Man” and “Doctor Strange” to life.

“Our exhibition takes visitors on a captivating journey through the origins of the Marvel Universe to the present day. It offers a unique opportunity to discover some of the rarest and most valuable artefacts from over eight decades of pop culture history. In addition, works by important contemporary artists are being presented, offering an exciting glimpse of the future,” highlights curator Ben Saunders, underlining the specialties of this exhibition, which was produced by Semmel Exhibitions and realized in cooperation with the Explorado Group in Cologne.

The Marvel exhibition is also the last presentation that is being hosted at the Odysseum in Cologne. After the exhibition, the building will be converted into a school. The Explorado Group will therefore present its exhibitions at another location in future.
