Oberhausen / Germany: A View behind the Scenes of Espionage

Germany’s Mehr! Entertainment GmbH – responsible for the production and marketing of musicals and shows like Starlight Express in Bochum – will open its first exhibition this spring. “TOP SECRET – die geheime Welt der Spionage” will be held in Oberhausen, in the former building of Miniaturwelt Oberhausen that has been closed at the beginning of this year. This new interactive exhibition will feature more than 3,000 exhibits on a 2,000 square meter large area. Technological developments and accomplishments of intelligent services as well as stories from legendary spies and their organizations are part of the exhibition. Current topics like data privacy in the World Wide Web will also be discussed. TOP SECRET is targeted at families, children and young adults and was planned in cooperation with Hamburg’s LeisureWorkGroup. Moreover, Mehr! Entertainment GmbH has projected further exhibitions with different themes. (eap)
