On a “Dino Mission” at Adventure Valley Durbuy

(eap) The Belgian Adventure Valley Durbuy recently opened a new interactive experience called “Dino Mission”. This expands the existing portfolio which includes various climbing facilities, playgrounds, a skywalk, a zipline and a labyrinth in the outdoor area as well as laser tag, fast tag and seven different escape rooms in the indoor area of the park.
In the new interactive experience, visitors take on the role of adventurers who use a time machine to search for Jeanne Dollo, a researcher who has gone missing according to the storyline. Equipped with identifiers and guided by a pre- and after-show, the brave adventurers head into the Dino Canyons, where they are confronted with “lifelike” dinosaurs as well as with challenging puzzles and clues. During the one-hour experience, each participant receives an individual score.
Many different technologies are used in the family attraction. The interactive (RFID) system, audiovisual equipment, theming as well as audio and video content were realized by the Dutch company Lagotronics Projects, which was also responsible for the creative direction. ■
