Orlando/FL: „The Incredible Hulk“ Coaster Reopens at Islands of Adventure
Universal Orlando Resort’s Islands of Adventure theme park recently reopened its popular “The Incredible Hulk” coaster after it was closed down last year for major renovation works.
At an official reopening ceremony with the “Marvel Super Heroes”, the park guests could get a first impression of the ride’s new features, which include a brand-new ride vehicle with a sleek and modern design. In addition to this, an original story line has been introduced to the attraction – guests are placed at the hands of an experiment led by General “Thunderbolt Ross”. The redesigned queuing line appears as a high-tech, scientific facility around a massive “Gamma Core”. Furthermore, riders listen from now on to a new soundtrack produced by Fall Out Boy rock band frontman Patrick Stump.
The “Incredible Hulk” looping coaster, which was supplied by Bolliger & Mabillard in 1999, joins the growing list of new experiences at Universal Orlando Resort, which recently opened the new multimedia attraction “Skull Island: Reign of Kong” (c.f. EAP news from July 19th, 2016). (eap)
