Orlando/FL: 2016 Record Year for IAAPA Expos

Following the participant records of this year’s trade fairs in Shanghai and Barcelona (c.f. EAP news from June 16^th & September 26^th, 2016), the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) closed its yearly IAAPA Attractions Expo held in Orlando last week with a new record of 35,100 participants (2015: 32,900). With more than 22,600 so-called buyers from the international leisure industry, the positive expectations of the organizers have been exceeded. 1,136 companies presented their latest products and developments on an exhibition area of 53,740 square meters (578,460 square feet), the largest trade show floor in the event’s history. These positive figures indicate a stable investment climate and the steady growth of the industry.
