Oscar Winner Sir Richard Taylor & Mack One Announce Collaboration

(eap) Recently, five-time Oscar winner Sir Richard Taylor visited Europa-Park Rust in Germany. Taylor is known for his work on the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, for which he designed weapons, armor and prosthetics with his company Wētā Workshop. Together with MACK One, the New Zealander is now planning a virtual adventure. Penned by Wētā Workshop senior concept designer Greg Broadmore, the project is a retro science fiction universe centered around the character of “Dr. Grordbort”, which Richard Taylor and Michael Mack now plan to bring to life in virtual reality. “We are very excited to soon be able to give our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Dr. Grordbort,” says Mack.
Also, Richard Taylor received a star on the Europa-Park “Walk of Fame” in French themed area for his special achievements in the field of special effects, as did Magic Leap founder Rony Abovitz. ■
