PEPPA PIG Theme Park Dallas-Fort Worth Celebrates Opening

(eap) The world’s third PEPPA PIG Theme Park opened last weekend in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Following the premiere of the first Peppa Pig theme park in Florida (USA, 2022) and a second in Günzburg (Germany, 2024), fans of “Peppa Pig” and her friends can now also discover an entire park packed with attractions based around the popular pink piglet in Dallas-Fort Worth. While the first two theme parks were built alongside to LEGOLAND® parks, Dallas-Fort Worth is the first stand-alone site.
Fiona Eastwood, the new Managing Director of the Merlin Entertainments operating group, emphasizes: “Bringing world-famous entertainment brands to life sits at the heart of what we do. The opening of this new attraction – and the first PEPPA PIG Theme Park to be a destination in its own right – is testament to the enduring popularity of this iconic children’s character. In total, more than USD 40 million (over EUR 38 million) has been invested in the theme park, which is primarily aimed at families with pre-school children. In addition to various playgrounds and a show stage, the theme park’s attractions include “Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster” (a family coaster from Zamperla), “Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride” (a balloon carousel ride from Technical Park) and “Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure”. The theme park has also been certified as an Autism Center by the IBCCES (International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards). Key features include wheelchair accessible paths, quiet areas for breaks and detailed “Sensory Guides” that allow guests to plan a day that best suits their needs.
