Picsolve Announces New Leadership Hires
Brendan Hegarty, neuer UK & Europe Managing Director & Chief Commercial Officer, Picsolve
UK-based digital content provider Picsolve has recently expanded its international management team to be well positioned for further company growth, including the expansion into new regions, sectors and technologies.
Brendan Hegarty (photo), who most recently has been working for British utility company OVO Energy, is an experienced executive from the media, telecommunications and utility industries. Hegarty, who will now act as UK and Europe Managing Director & Chief Commercial Officer for Picsolve, previously held responsible positions at companies such as Sky and Orange.
For the US market, John Barbieri took over as Head of Region USA/Chief Operating Officer, strengthening the regional management team after having spent 15 years with Freeze Frame, a company that was acquired by Picsolve last year (c.f. EAP news from October 3rd, 2017). New Managing Director Asia and Middle East is Robert Cowell – previously, Cowell oversaw Picsolve’s strategic assessment for the Asia-Pacific region.
Picsolve also provided additional support for its technology team: As Platform Architect, Mark Wilson will be responsible for the introduction of new technologies for the further optimization of business processes that should enable the diversification of the product portfolio for new market segments. Andrew Bellingham, new Head of Product Management, will lead Picsolve’s global digital product portfolio.
Susan Standiford has been appointed Non-Executive Director, bringing in more than 20 years of professional experience in the technological field, which she gained with software development companies and IT organizations, among others. In addition, Standiford has expertise in marketing, product development and design thinking for both B2C and B2B organizations. (eap)
