Plans for New 35-Hectare Water Park Resort in Uzbekistan

Legacy's Eric Carnagey signs new water park deal in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

(eap) A new, 35-hectare large water park resort including a themed hotel, immersive dining and live entertainment is set to open in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The new resort is expected to attract not only local residents but also tourists across the country’s border. California-based Legacy Entertainment design firm is responsible for the design and construction of the water park.

Last week, Legacy Entertainment’s Chief Business Development Officer and co-founder Eric Carnagey signed the corresponding contract in Tashkent. “World-class entertainment projects like this can be transformational for a community. Once complete, this new resort will supercharge tourism, create hundreds or even thousands of jobs, and enrich the lives of the people of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, as well as Central Asia.”

Asia – especially South Korea, China and the Southeast of the continent – is currently the main market of the American design and planning office with numerous ongoing projects. A summary of current developments can be found here in our EAP News.■
